Joel Eagan, R.I.P., Febuary 7, 2025, Sedona, Arizona, USA
Joel Eagan was an amazing and very unique person. He absolutely loved Sedona.
He often said that there was no better place in the world to live than in Sedona. For the
more than 20 years i knew him, he was a great friend. We would often sit for hours to just
talk and visit about every concievable subject imaginable. Joel was a world traveller and took many
trips to the Carribean, Puerto Rico and the Hawaiian Islands. We went on many excursions
throughout Sedona,s red rock country looking for Jesse James and KGC buried gold caches.
He was absolutely convinced that there were many caches of buried gold just waiting to be
found and dug up in the Sedona vicinity. We actually found a few empty caches on some of our treks. Joel was a talented artist and did a thriving business making and selling Sedona red rock art work locally. His pieces are now scattered throughout the world in the tens of thousands as tourist trinkets bought and taken
back to their home countries. His frienndship, his artwork and his presence will all be greatly missed.
Take care my friend...see ya in the world to come!!!
